Searchlight Ad Ventures is a small family owned and operated, advertising searchlight rental service, in operation since August 2003. We are centrally located near interstates I-20, I-26 and I-77 in Lexington, South Carolina.
 

We serve the searchlight rental needs of the Eastern Seaboard. Our size assures you of prompt, personal service.

Our specialty is attracting people to special events such as grand openings, major sales, concerts, festivals  and  sporting events.

The lights
 The lights are WWII model 1942A built in 1943 by General Electric at a cost of $60,000 each.

They operate on 78 Volts at 150 amps, that's 11,700 watts!.

The effective beam length is 5.6 miles.

The 60 inch parabolic mirror is made of Rhodium plated brass and weighs 180 Pounds.

The Generator
The generator is powered by a Hercules JXD six cylinder gasoline engine and has a very quiet exhaust system.
